Paint My Cat! Kids Painting app good for

This isnt really a game, but as a coloring book, my 5 year-old really likes coloring the cat and the room over and over again. Really innovative, and not just the same old coloring book.
My daughter is absolutely enthralled and keeps going back to paint the cat and all the different bits shes unlocked in every colour of the rainbow!
Watching the cat, and everything else you paint, spring to life is just magical!
It is so much fun to see your drawing come to life!!!! Especially after water coloring the print outs!
This is a really simple and fun application. I let my 6 year old color and watch her face light up when the cat comes to life. Worth the toonie for sure
this app is really nice. I am 28 and enjoy painting this cat! well done

Some bad moments

Downloaded it only because it was free! I got an email today saying I have paid money for it!! ??
Bought it for my daughter. It only has a few basic things to colour, one room, a ball, a cat ect. The ad said it could "augment" reality for kids to colour in. I thought it meant you could take pics with the camera and the kids could then colour it. Nope.. It just animates the cat, ball, room your child coloured for a second or two at the end. Very disappointed.
The app no longer save your progress. It was a great app before update. Sad to see my un-painted cat. It would be nice if there was a save button.
I mean wow... Absolutely great. Color a cat and see it come to life as a 3d model. I havent tried all the options yet but great app. If your kid like coloring this is a must have. Or you can pretend you are a kid too!
This app blew my mind. First, I paint a 2d cat and it becomes 3d and I can play with it. How do you even do that? Plus a mode where I can aim it at a piece of paper and that shape appears on my iPad. Whoa.
I hesitantly got this because my daughter was convinced it was something to do with Blues Clues. I have a 2, 3, and 5 year old and they are all three fighting over and then laughing over this app. We are three days in and its the one they keep returning to. The images are very simple, but the 2D to 3D switch is brilliant. They get excited every time. I like that even my two year old can draw something and watch it come alive in a recognizable form. They keep wanting to manipulate more things in the environment -- like the things on the wall and the toys. Adding more objects and dress up items, and letting the cat go outside are natural ways the game could expand. Could also add different things in the lab for the experiments to create.
